Abandoned Desert Domes of Casa Grande, Arizona

Exploring the abandoned Desert Domes, located just south of the town Casa Grande, Arizona. The domes were built in 1983 by a company called Innerconn Technology, who planned to use them as a manufacturing hub for circuit boards to be used in computers and watches. The company unfortunately went bankrupt and the domes have been left to rot in the Sonoran Desert ever since.

Since then, urban explorers have been fascinated by these strange structures left decaying under the desert sun. Graffiti artists have used the decrepit walls as a canvas for their creative pursuits and expressions, and more sinister there have been rumors of cults and devil worshippers that use the empty shells to perform rituals and occult ceremonies.

This has led to many claiming that the domes are haunted. People say they have seen dark shadows and demons lurking about, the spirits of Native American tribes that once roamed this land. Even the popular Travel Channel show Ghost Adventures filmed an episode at these domes.

Well I had to see them for myself, so I ventured south and documented my experience for you (the viewer). These domes will not be around much longer, sadly the roof on one of them collapsed in 2018, and the city of Casa Grande is making plans to have the rest of them demolished. So for those thrill seekers who are interested in the infrastructure of yesteryear, I recommend planning a visit before they are gone forever.

Closing song: Mysterious Journey - Written and performed by Me on piano.
