As China continues to implement science, technology, and innovation efforts at a rapid pace, the greater the threat that China will not only assume science & technology (S&T) dominance but also become an S&T alternative to the United States becomes. 

Gordon Chang is a subject matter expert (SME) on China, Asia, nuclear proliferation, and the relationship that exists between China and the US. As an established columnist, and public speaker, Mr. Chang will share timely and relevant insight into China’s S&T strategies and the specific implications those may have to the US. 

Cleo Paskal is a recovering journalist who ended up in think tanks. Her affiliations include: Associate Fellow, Chatham House (U.K.); Non-Resident Senior Fellow for the Indo-Pacific, Foundation for Defense of Democracies (Washington, D.C.); Visiting Fellow, Centre d’études et de recherches internationales de l’Université de Montréal (Canada); and International Board of Advisors, Global Counter Terrorism Council (India).  

The Doolittle Institute is a non-profit organization supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory from Niceville, Florida.
