The 35th president of the United States John F Kennedy during his 1963 visit to Ireland. Kennedy of course was the descendent of Irish immigrants to the US. Like so many that came before and after him. His family brought and maintained many of the values instilled in them from the land of their forefathers.

And from this clip, we get to see president Kennedy amongst the Irish who stayed behind on the green misty aisle. Very much appreciated the welcome both he and his family had received on their arrival. A very special time both for Ireland and for the Kennedy family.
