Moving OUR Hatched Chicks to the COOP ║ Update on SPIRAL BREEDING METHOD Plan

Last month we hatched out our own chicks!! Out of 18 eggs, we hatched out 9 cute fluff-balls. Then two more a few weeks later.

This is an exciting step along the path of a self-sustainable flock. My plan last year was to use the Spiral Breeding Method to keep the bloodlines clean, toward the end of the video I explain what that’s looking like now.

I hope to hatch out another batch or two this winter so they’ll be ready to start laying in the late spring.

Today’s task was to move the chicks to the coop with the hens and… the rooster! I hope they get along ok!
