Part 1 of 4 Parts from Asbury Park NJ. This one is from the Old Power Plant
The heating plant, next to the casino on the ocean, was built in 1930. It provided heat to all of the buildings on the boardwalk, delivered via a concrete steam tunnel. Its architecture is what caught my eye, and I felt it was a good subject to include in the series.
