The Vietnam Veterans Memorial (“The Wall”) was dedicated on 13 November, 1982, to finally recognize the efforts and sacrifices those soldiers endured, whilst being vilified in their own country, simply for doing what all soldiers before them had done….they were called upon, and they went. The Wall is a two acre national memorial in D.C. It honors service members of the United States Armed Forces who fought in the Vietnam War, service members who died in service in Vietnam/South East Asia, and those service members who were missing in action during the war. In 2019, I made this pictorial video of a few of those soldiers, nurses, etc, who exemplify the heroes for whom The Wall was erected. That video, with music, follows:
