Turn Based Tactics Served Up Superhero Style | Capes Demo

Capes looks to combine the tactics of XCOM with the might of superheroes. We assemble a team of vigilantes on the run from the dystopian Company who are looking to help the suppressed super population. The most interesting strategic innovation is the heavy reliance on team supported attacks with each super hero giving a unique buff to one ability of each other character that they can use if they are standing close enough to each other. Multiple enemy types, weapons, class systems, tech trees and more flesh out the classic RPG experience and this game looks very promising, expecting a release in early 2023.
