‘If the US stopped aiding Ukraine, it would rapidly collapse’

Washington has approved or sent about $66 billion in financial, military, and humanitarian aid to Ukraine this year. The total sum sent now amounts to one-third of Ukraine’s GDP in 2021. The most recent approval has provoked concerns among congressional Republicans. And journalist Daniel Lazare says those worries have real grounds.
