Wupih sirsik (scientific name: Petaurus breviceps, English: sugar glider) is a kind of small gliding possum, which has omnivorous, arboreal and nocturnal behavior and belongs to the infraclass Marsupialia. Its common English name refers to this animal's preference for sweet nectar, and its ability to glide through the air, like a flying squirrel. They have physical features and habits very similar to flying squirrels although they are not genetically closely related, as an example of convergent evolution. Its scientific name, Petaurus breviceps, is translated from Latin as "short-headed rope-dancer", which refers to animal acrobatics it's in the canopy.
