S. Korean scientists discover laser heating process, replacing Japanese material used in displays

South Korean researchers have discovered a way to replace the electrode materials local companies have been sourcing from Japan.
Researchers at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology say they've developed a process for transparent electrodes, using lasers, to raise their electrical conductivity.
Korean firms, until now, have had Japan process these materials, which are often used in making flexible displays.
