Kim Ayotte, Ottawa Emergency Services testifies that Convoy protesters were concerned about maintaining safety lanes and kept safety lanes open during the protest and avoided blocking emergency service vehicles.

Kim Ayotte, Emergency Services testifies that a bomb threat at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and that the increase in 911 calls were “suspected” to be related, but there was no evidence connecting them to the Convoy.

Kim Ayotte confirms that a deal between the Freedom Convoy and the City of Ottawa that saw trucks being relocated from the residential areas onto Wellington or out of the downtown core was stopped by the Ottawa Police.

Kim Ayotte, Ottawa’s of emergency and protective services confirmed from Brendan Miller’s question that “Not a single assaulting a peace officer charge was laid” during the Convoy protest when issuing of 3,000+ bi-law tickets.

Kim Ayotte regarding letter saying no fire trucks could make it to the hotel Chateau Laurier said the reality is there was 3 other trucks responding and responders were already in the hotel and the risk of this call was very low.

In response to Mathieu Fleury’s testimony about a construction type truck with a legal diesel container when Fleury testified we should have evacuated the Rideau Centre, Kim Ayotte responded “well that’s not accurate because the risk is still low.”
