Being thankful under all circumstances is sometimes not easy. Treating one another with respect, dignity, and love can also be challenging. The only one who can change hearts and change a mindset is Jesus. We must never forget what Christ has done for us. He has set us free from ourselves to be more like him. "To conclude: you must all have the same attitude and the same feelings; love one another, and be kind and humble with one another. Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with cursing; instead, pay back with a blessing, because a blessing is what God promised to give you when he called you." (1 Peter 3:8-9)
