Nike Air Jordan 11 Retro Midnight Navy Heritage

The Air Jordan 11 is a silhouette we’re always happy to see get some airtime. While it has a number of classic palettes that occasionally earn a Retro rerelease, seeing brand-new colorways like the Nike Air Jordan 11 Midnight Navy prove that it’s a design that deserves more respect.
Aside from a white midsole, this release is entirely dressed in the titular Midnight Navy hue. Although this can sometimes miss the mark, leaving a shoe without any impact or notable features, that’s not the case here. That’s because of the textured finish to the colorway.
A velvet mudguard sets the Nike Air Jordan 11 Midnight Navy off, bringing a changing sheen to the colorway that sometimes appears deep and dark and other times lighter and washed-out. Changing with the light, the velvet mudguard plays a central role in this show.
