Remembrance Day Ceremony 2022 by Benita Pedersen - 03

Freedom-minded individuals gathered at the front steps of the Alberta Legislature for a ceremony to honour those who sacrificed for our freedoms.

Those in attendance sang all four verses of “O Canada” with reverence.

Veteran David Mason shared about Canadian war heroes that he admires. Plus, he shared about his own personal experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Plus, there were some poignant poems read.
