Fines for leaving your "designated district?"

Oxfordshire County Council wants to fine residents £70 if they drive out of their "designated district" more than 100 days a year.

It sounds like a joke, doesn't it? It's not.

Local Authorities have favoured fines for a whole array of 'offences' in recent years. Would Digital ID and accompanying surveillance encourage even more of this micro-management of the public?

These ever-growing encroachments on our personal freedoms are concerning and even frightening to most who are paying attention.

But what can WE do about all this, on a practical level?
