It is said the Tree of Life “bears 12 crops of fruits.” What if the seeds of one of those fruits were entrusted to man? What if the devil stole the seeds?

Chosen by God, a young brave named Notah leaves his home in Mesa Verde to recover the stolen seeds from the ancient underground city of Shin-au-av in Death Valley. He tracks the thief, a fierce skinwalker, with the aid of a unique band of Japanese warriors, the Hotaru-Raiko. Part human and part firefly, they are unlike anything Notah has ever seen in nature.

Can these two cultures, steeped in the way of the warrior, come together in the service of God? Can they complete the journey, defeat monstrous creatures, and escape the ancient city with the seeds?
