NaNoWriMo Fantasy Novel Workshop: Supernatural and "Different" Elements to the Setting

Sometimes all you need is just one thing different to completely change what is mundane to our world and make it a vivid or even pivotal point in your story. This workshop builds off of the prior and uses what we know about our natural world and shows how just one step sideways from a concept can create a dramatic difference that doesn't go too overboard for your audience.

Water that flows UPWARDS?! Aquatic dwarves, sheeplings (tieflings), and other considerations are all discussed as we put a magical shine on the bean-inspired map.
