A man had to live off pot noodles in the wake of losing his last £15 before payday after coincidentally requesting KFC. Gordon White made a Deliveroo request for his chicken however he was informed the feast would show up the following morning.

Gordon, from Eastleigh, added: "Something is off about Deliveroo I think. I requested a discount. It's not my shortcoming I was unable to drop and they won't give me a discount."

He added that he has reached the food conveyance organization to request a discount however was informed there was nothing they could do. The Deliveroo site says clients can drop orders as long as the café has not begun setting it up. Deliveroo has been reached for input.
