In this video, Reverend Catania expands on the covenant of salt commitment. We learn that swaddling clothes were not poor rags, but part of a ceremony that parents of royalty do even to this day in parts of the east. Parents commit to raise a truthful child, a child of integrity. We also see that David participated in a salt covenant with God that he and his off-springs would inherit God's eternal kingdom. We also learn that Judas killed himself because he broke the salt covenant at the last supper. The apostles question to Jesus in Acts 1:6 is not a dumb question. It was logical. They anticipated the hope of Israel.
