US, Taiwan finish round of trade talks, agree to keep discussing 11 topics

The US and Taiwan have laid out a roadmap for continuing negotiations on nearly a dozen issues, after two days of trade talks in New York. Areas covered include anti-corruption efforts, digital trade and non-market policies and practices. But no agreement is expected until next year. They also agreed to hold additional meetings in the near future.
