How to Convert a Refrigerator Into an Upright Freezer

Since March, its been nearly impossible to purchase a brand new deep freezer - upright or otherwise. So if you had to - how could you convert a regular refrigerator into an upright freezer?

This video should help explain the process for a TOP MOUNT FREEZER. I cannot advise if this would be appropriate for a side by side, as many have a refrigerant line in between the doors to act as a mullion heater (aka Yoder Loop). You would need to check your schematics for that style fridge to ensure you know where the refrigerant lines are in the liner before drilling additional air vents.
