GE Gas Oven Won't Heat - How to Test & Replace the Ignitor Easily!

We had a GE Gas stove that just seemed like it probably wasn't going to work right. So we decided to do a quick test on the ignitor system to see if it works or not. If you own a basic multimeter, this quick and easy test will show you if the affordable ignitor is bad, or if you may have other, more expensive problems.

Once we tested the GE oven ignitor and determined it was bad, I went ahead and replaced it to show you the difference before and after of what a good/bad system looks like to help you understand what to look for even if the ignitor seems to glow, but not fuel the system to heat your oven.
