UN forum, question on CAA, India directly explained to those objecting to citizenship law
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta has responded on behalf of India on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and hate speech in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
He told the UNHRC that the CAA is a limited and focused law that gives citizenship to the oppressed minorities of neighboring countries.
