Footage of terrible tornadoes and floods in Portugal. Lisbon turned into chaos.

Chaos is unfolding in Portugal.

Heavy rains accompanied by hurricanes in the Lisbon area caused flash floods and damage. Streets are flooded, cars are drowned, tree branches are fallen, parked cars are damaged. Lisbon is in complete chaos.

The Lisbon Civil Protection recorded 89 incidents on Tuesday 8 November 2022 due to bad weather, between 13:00 and 15:00. Especially in the parishes of Alvalade and Alcântara, with several floods and tornadoes damaging trees, buildings and vehicles.

A total of 14 cars were reportedly damaged by debris flying in the tornado.

According to the Portuguese Institute of the Ocean and Atmosphere (IPMA), the Alcântara area is affected by low-intensity tornadoes.
