Hurricane Nicole made landfall early Thursday on North Satellite Beach, Vero Beach, Florida, with winds of 75 mph, according to the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS).
The center warned that Hurricane Nicole would bring heavy downpours and strong winds,
also expected to cause flooding.
Tropical storm conditions expected in Apalachee in Thursday and
Tropical Storm Warnings have been extended to all of southwest and south-central Georgia counties.
