Nicole a tropical storm after making landfall in Florida as a cat 1 hurricane

Tropical Storm Nicole continues to impact the state of Florida after making landfall near Vero Beach as a category 1 hurricane. Severe weather warnings are in effect across the Sunshine State and north into Georgia and South Carolina. At this time, more than 200,000 Floridians are without power.
