RT News - November 10th 2022
A civilian is killed and another wounded after reports of 'Ukrainian army shelling' of houses and apartment buildings - causing heavy damage in the Donetsk Republic. Four Himars were used to destroy six houses in one residential, civilian only area. (QueenStreet comment: Apart from the barbaric, criminal nature of this shelling, at £100,000 per rocket, is this what US Himars are supposed to be being used for?)
RT talks with Eva K Bartlett about mass graves and misreporting by the "approved media". RT checks in on the special mission of those protecting the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
COP27: (QueenStreet comment: The New York Times produced a classic whinge and attack piece, part of which says: "Mr. Putin's supporters hail from some of the most powerful and polluting nations. Xi Jinping of China and India's Narendra Modi stepped up after the attack on Ukraine to buy immense volumes of Russian coal and oil at bargain prices, cushioning their own economies from a global energy crisis while allowing Mr. Putin to keep profiting from energy exports, despite western sanctions" This HAS to be the quote of the century and I need a way to keep bringing it up, especially in the light of the Indian's FM's Jaishankar comments yesterday "We have a moral duty to our citizens").
Nobody seemed to be listening to John Kerry as he struggled to be heard at COP27 today, RT was listening though and analyses the proposals for us. There's such a lot of hypocrisy coming from the west about the green agenda and a lot will come down to carbon taxes, likely to be paid by us citizens and traded carbon credits will allow the polluters to buy (with our money?) their way to "clear consciences".
With the ongoing UN climate-change conference addressing rising pollution levels Western countries come under fire for using Africa as a dumping ground for garbage.
Dead politicians and Mid-terms: A couple of dead politicians have won elections in two US states, as their names were not removed from the ballots. US President Joe Biden refuses to change course on policy making, despite public frustration and approval ratings diving to new lows.
Pres. Biden and Pres Xi Jinping of China may meet at the upcoming G20 and says it's time to talk about red lines.
