LATEST UPDATES | Fighting in Bakhmut: Russians say they have entered the city

There has been heavy fighting between Russia and Ukrainian forces in eastern city of Bakhmut. Bakhmut Deputy Mayor says Russian soldiers tried to storm the city from several directions. Bakhmut Deputy Mayor says residents are living in dire conditions, with people killed and wounded daily. Ukraine says it is making further advances towards the southern city of Kherson. Russian president Vladimir Putin has said civilians should be moved from Kherson region.
