Dragonflies...

...or mosquito hawks, more likely. I haven't seen the really big dragonflies since the seventies, have you?

Anyway, in a video that likely goes on six minutes longer than it should, the mesmerizing mosquito hawks descended upon my yard full of passionflower, to feast on the gulf fritillary butterflies and other bugs generated by my "garden". It gets better as it goes on though.
