Awesome Arts Festival Sandy Hill 2018 Brazilian Carnaval

Over the course of 3 months, Luciano Porto worked with a group of 8-12 year olds to learn about Brazilian culture through percussion, costumes and parading! The participants, Luciano and the volunteers brought their energy and the warmth of the Brazilian culture to the Awesome Arts Festival Stage! This program was offered in partnership with the Sandy Hill Community Health Centre and supported by the City of Ottawa, Arts Network Ottawa, the Ottawa Community Foundation, Sandy Hill's One & Only Craft Fair, Shout Sister and Viscount Alexander Public School
