Activists Glue Themselves to Museum Painting

Two climate change activists glued themselves to the frames of paintings by Spanish artist Francisco Goya at El Prado Museum Saturday afternoon. The two women used adhesives to stick themselves to the paintings "La Maja Desnuda," or The Nude Maja, and "La Maja Vestida," or The Clothed Maja, after spray painting graffiti reading "1.5 degrees Celsius" on the wall.
