According to the American Cancer Society, over 10,000 men will be diagnosed with testicular cancer this year and over 400 young men will die. Testicular cancer is the most common form of cancer in men ages 15-34 even with it being such a rare disease. Mike Albert is a survivor of testicular cancer. He says he was just 27 years old when he noticed a lump in one of his testicles. "I kind of ignored it for as long as possible. That's kind of an uncomfortable place to get checked. I ignored it until maybe November. Actually, it was November 11 of last year that I was diagnosed." By then, the lump had been present since August. He said it grew so large in size that going to see someone about it become unavoidable.
