Officials of the Los Angeles Chargers returned to San Diego Monday to accompany engineers in determining what changes must be made if Balboa Stadium is to be used as a future home for the American League club. Head coach and general manager Sid Gillman was especially critical of what he called totally inadequate dressing room facilities. Other parts of the stadium under criticism of the Charger officials were the crash wall, built for auto racing, and the poor condition of the playing turf. It is hoped that a list of improvements deemed necessary by the Chargers will soon be compiled with cost estimations to be turned over to Mayor Dail and the City Council.
