COVID-19 cases are on the rise after the four-day Chuseok holiday in South Korea.
The country confirmed 57-thousand-3-hundred-9 new infections on Tuesday.
That's up more than 20 thousand from the previous day,... mainly due to more testing after the holiday lull.
35 COVID-related deaths were reported.
There are 5-hundred-47 critically ill patients.
And from Tuesday, those who've made reservations for SKYCovione, South Korea's first domestically-produced COVID vaccine, can get their shots.
So far though, just 67 people have reserved a spot to get the vaccine.
