Speaking to the Telegraph, the Belgorod Governor described and confirmed the incident.

"After entering the borders of our country, they attacked our oil depot with a low flight. they carried out this attack with 2 helicopters. The fire lasted a very long time, but it was brought under control." said.

The Rosneft company, which operates the fuel tank, also made a statement on the matter. "Everyone working in the area was evacuated unharmed. We are in contact with our Ministry of Emergency Situations and law enforcement agencies in the region," he said.
