Beijing grapples with COVID surge, more restrictions

Residents in several parts of Beijing were told on Thursday (November 10) to get tested for COVID-19 every 24 hours, as the Chinese capital battled a rebound in infections. It comes as Chinese authorities were told that they should take a more targeted approach and rectify any extra "layers" of measures, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
