Mr. Raisner is the Founder and CEO of The Raisner Group which is a private real estate investment firm headquartered here in New York City. The Raisner Group’s mission is to raise living standards, deliver top-level risk adjusted returns to investors, create opportunities it invests into, and contribute to the greater good of society.
Under Mr. Raisner’s leadership, The Raisner Group has raised capital domestically and internationally since 2009. It has been active in non-performing notes and fee simple transactions, and focuses primarily on value-add, residential and mixed-use real estate investments in New York City. Most of the firm’s acquisitions have taken place in the outer boroughs, with an emphasis in the emerging Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bushwick, Bed Stuy, and Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
After working as an equity trader in New York, Mr. Raisner worked for a real estate investment firm in Argentina, where he focused on Latin American acquisitions. Mr. Raisner holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Columbia Business School and prior to his career in business, he played professional basketball.
In conjunction to being an entrepreneur, Remy has been a leading voice of the real estate industry. He is a contributor to numerous international and national media outlets, and he is a frequent speaker at universities and conferences. His articles have been featured in publications including Forbes, The HuffPost (U.S., Canada, France, Italy and Mexico editions), the Observer, Le Monde and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
