In Toronto, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly discusses Canada’s efforts to deepen ties and expand partnerships in Asia and the Indo-Pacific region. The speech, which is hosted by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, comes ahead of Joly’s trip later this month to Cambodia, Indonesia, and Thailand, where she will attend three international summits with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
