Gabriel Poliquin, a lawyer representing the Public Order Emergency Commission, collapsed while he was questioning Mario Di Tommaso, Ontario’s deputy solicitor general, at the inquiry into the Emergencies Act, used to shut down the Freedom Convoy.

At this time the cause of this collapse is unknown. The inquiry into the use of the Emergencies Act by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was paused for approximately two hours following the collapse of Gabriel Poliquin. Poliquin was taken out of the room by paramedics in an upright position and was concious.
