Final SRC appeal: Apex court upholds Najib’s guilty verdict

The Federal Court on Tuesday (Aug 23) dismissed former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s appeal to quash his conviction and sentence in the SRC International Sdn Bhd trial.

Chief Justice Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat said the defence was so inherently inconsistent, it failed to raise reasonable doubt.
