COP27 Climate Summit begins in Egypt

The 2022 UN Climate Change Conference, commonly known as Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, or COP27 Climate Summit, scheduled from 6 to 18 November has begun in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. More than 100 world leaders are expected to attend the conference.

Theme for COP27 Climate Summit is "implementation." Decisive responses and concrete & actionable steps towards implementation of the Paris Agreement are expected.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has already reached Egypt to attend the conference.
