Hi - We are Douglas and Keri…follow us as we make the move from our urban home near Denver, Colorado to our off grid property in Southeast Arizona.

We did IT! We sold everything including our house and most of our belongings and we moved into our 20' travel trailer along with our 2 dogs Willow & Zoey (the 2 rebels) and a 15-year-old cat Boo. We've been on the road now for about a week and a half and so far, it's been great! We started out by heading to our newly purchased 36 acre property in Cochise County Arizona where we staked out the property lines along with our driveway and house site. We've got a tractor guy coming to do the grading while we are on our extended road trip.

So far, we've been to see Tyler (the 23 y/o kiddo that just moved to Tempe), Sedona, Arizona, Lake Powell, Arizona, Capitol Reef, Utah! We have done a TON of hiking and getting to know our trailer better.

The plan is head up to Western WA where Keri has family that we will visit and then drive down the Pacific Coast and then head back over to Arizona when the real work begins! We wanted to take this time to rest and recuperate before starting the work on the property.
