Chicago Bears news dropped this morning as QB Justin Fields has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Fields is the first player in either conference to win player of the week in a game that his team lost. When you set a record like Fields did with the most rushing yards in a game for a QB ever with 178 yards rushing against the Dolphins, good things happen. Fields accounted for 4 total touchdowns as well. Unfortunately former NFL RB and FS1 analyst LeSean McCoy is a fraud and says that Fields can’t throw the football. Fields passer rating is at 99.7 over the past 5 games which completely dismisses what McCoy claims. Bears Now host Harrison Graham brings you today’s Chicago Bears rumors & news.

Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy deserves a lot of credit for Justin Fields and the Bears offensive improvements. Chicago is averaging over 31 points per game over the past 3 weeks and Getsy’s adjustments are a big reason why. Getsy has embraced Fields unique athleticism and has allowed him to play within his strengths. He’s also leaned on an elite running game with Fields, Khalil Herbert and David Montgomery leading the way. The Bears are on pace to set an NFL record for most rushing yards in a season. Fields is also on pace to become the 3rd QB in NFL history to reach 1,000 yards rushing in a season. Is Luke Getsy going to be an NFL head coach soon?
