Pet Malaysian Forest Scorpions

I just got these "Malyasian Forest Scorpion" Heterometrus Longimanus. I have not had a scorpion for over ten years and I happened to see an ad from a local guy with some extras. What's exciting is the female may be pregnant.

These scorpions are fairly common in the pet trade and are not considered dangerous unless your allergic to them. They are easy to take care and don't require any expensive set up.

They only eat live food so you will need to buy mealworms or crickets. I keep mine in a sphagnum moss and coco fiber. These scorpions require a moist habitat.
