These are just some random "thoughts" (waves, inspirations, what have you)... was awakened with this idea floating in my head this morning from Rev 14:14 and the theme of the "harvest" and one appearing like the son of man (humanity) sitting on a cloud with a sickle in his hand...ready to reap.
Reaping is always directly associated with "sowing" (what a man sows, that he must reap). I have been pondering the potentiality of the "error" of the Christian gospel and it's ideology of "a saviour dying for the sins of mankind".
This to me seems intrinsically flawed now, because it has basically negated the principle of "sowing and reaping" and yet we still are witnessing a "harvest" taking place.
What IF... we have collectively deceived ourselves with this "gospel" of irresponsibility (not taking responsibility) for our actions and thoughts (thinking someone else would pay the bill and consequence) and we have created and accumulated this "cloud of collective irresponsibility" which we must now reap at the hands of "one like unto the son of man"... or the darkened consciousness of humanity?
What IF we created this "harvest of souls" through this collective negligence of consciousness and our lives are cut short at the hand of humanity itself?
As I am a little more conscious now, I am beginning to have a problem with assigning all "control" and "responsibility" for our lives unto God.
Saying "God is in control" is really quite an unconscious statement to make, in my opinion and it keeps us in a slumber of sorts... and prevents us from living "consciously aware" of what impact our life (thoughts and actions) has on the world around us.
We comfort ourselves in saying that "we don't have to be perfect, and that we are forgiven".... it is absolutely true that there is no judgement from the Father... but our deeds are still seeds that produce a harvest which WE must reap.
