Following reports of 229 new Omicron COVID-19 cases, Thailand's Ministry of Public Health will urge that the resumption of the Test & Go quarantine-free travel scheme be delayed until the end of January.
The Department of Medical Sciences has documented 229 new Omicron cases, raising the total to 1,780, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. The majority of instances were found in Bangkok, Kalasin, Roi Et, Chon Buri, and Phuket.
