Denzel Washington On The Death of Alonzo Harris Training Day #shorts

Denzel Washington is recognised as one of the greatest actors of his generation. And for many people Training day is one if not his best movie. In it he plays the part of Alonso Harris a crooked Los Angeles detective who is directly involved with crime. Denzel's calling as a Christian drove him to seek angles in his work and where he could spread the word of God.

So in Training Day he very much wanted the death of Alonso to reflect how he would die. As the original script has Alonso die in a small way. As he was such a bad guy, for Denzel he had to die in a way that reflected his life. So he had the end of the movie changed so the Alonso died like the snake he was, crawling along the ground. A fitting end for this type of individual.
