Pfizer acknowledge that their vaccine does not prevent one from getting Covid or spreading the same

After multiple threats from global leaders to try to force vaccine mandates on their populace, even claiming that this is the pandemic of the unvaccinated. Pfizer, claims that their vaccine does not prevent one from getting covid or transferring it to others. The question then is, what was the noise for?
