Veterans in Cybersecurity Leadership

We are proud to celebrate and honor our military veterans. Yet we are saddened to hear statistics like the one the New York Times reports that military veterans are 37% more likely to be underemployed than non-veterans. As we near the end of 2022, Cyber Seek research reports 769,736 cybersecurity job openings in the United States. Based on this, and the experience that military veterans have under their belts, it might be time for you to consider veterans as a part of your cybersecurity strategy.

To discuss adding these talented individuals to your business or nonprofit’s cybersecurity strategy, I will be leading a virtual panel of vets who are leaders in their field of cybersecurity. We hope to make the case for hiring vets or outsourcing to veteran-owned cybersecurity firms as you guard your organization against persistent threats.

Please join us by preregistering for this event here: https://lnkd.in/g6fkTXM7

We will also address how these vets found their career pathway into the cybersecurity space and if it has been a good fit for them. We will review current cyber-threats to businesses from the eyes of those who have been trained to protect and serve. Lastly, we will review the impact of CMMC & FedRAMP on businesses who must meet compliance regulations/certifications.

Join us at Technology Source with me Sonya Ziegler Meline and our panelists, CISO Dan W., and CEO Joe Kingland, CISSP of Blue Team Alpha, along with IT Director and Security Officer of ACS Benefit Services, Scott Corrêa, and CEO of Ignyte Assurance Platform™ Max Aulakh on November 15th 2022 to be a part of this event.
