In this part, Water Resources Engineer Paul Burgess who was in charge of the construction of Dinorwig, one of the largest pump storage systems in Europe. The Dinorwig Power Station, known locally as Electric Mountain, or Mynydd Gwefru, is a pumped-storage hydroelectric scheme, near Dinorwig, Llanberis in Snowdonia national park in Gwynedd, north Wales. The scheme can supply a maximum power of 1,728 MW and has a storage capacity of around 9.1 GWh.

Paul explains how Extinction Rebellion, the Green Movement and Politicians ALL get their figures wrong. As large as Dinorwick is it can only store 1.2% of the UK's daily demand. This means that if we have a repeat of a recent 9 day period with no wind then 770 power stations the size of Dinorwig would need to be built. But there are only a total of three viable places for them to be built.

This is an important video because it totally exposes the absurdity of storing wind energy to even out it's supply.
